Marriage Licenses Stewart-Yarger Wedding Wednesday evening at 8:30 o'clock, at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. And Mrs. J.H. Yarger, Miss Edna May Yarger and Mr. Harry Dulaney Stewart were happily wedded in the presence of a well-wishing company of near relatives and intimate friends. Rev. M.B. Carman officiated in the use of the impressively beautiful ring ceremony. A little niece of the bride, Elonia Yarger of Scottsbluff, Nebraska, was the ring-bearer. Mrs. George H. Thomas was at the piano in the wedding march. The ceremony was consummated under an arch effect in white and green, with draperies of point de sprit, palms and asparagus ferns. The bride was becomingly gowned in a handsome crepe de chene over white taffeta, trimmed with medallions of French point and valenciennes lace, skirt en train. She carried a large bouquet of white roses. Her going-away dress was of green chiffon cloth, with white hat and green trimmings. A wedding dinner in four courses followed the warmly-bestowed congratulations. The young couple were handsomely remembered in wedding gifts. Mr. And Mrs. Stewart departed on No. 13, following morning, for Salt Lake City, Utah, on a wedding trip, stopping briefly in Denver en route. They will be at home to their friends in McCook after September 15th. Relatives present from away were C.W. Stewart of Alma, Neb., father of the groom and Mr. and Mrs. O. P. Yarger of Scottsbluff, Neb. These estimabled and sterling young folks embark upon the sea matrimonial with the heartiest congratulations and warmest well wishes of the community. |
