Barb McBride-Smith

meaningful, serious and silly,

The Boulder Acoustic Society

Joyful chaos has defined BAS for the last four years of relentless touring, recording and rehearsing. They have crisscrossed the country countless times building a following the old fashioned way, by making connections with fans one at a time. From festivals to rock clubs, dive bars to house concerts, BAS has spread the word.

Andy Offutt Irwin

A Georgia native and former stand-up comic, Andy Offutt Irwin is equal parts schoolboy and Marx brother, peppered with a touch of the Southern balladeer. For this epic show, he uses lighthearted songs and upbeat stories to approach serious environmental issues like recycling, the food chain, and the interdependence of life.

Kids Fest - is especially designed for youth through sixth grad, featuring storytelling with crafts, music and activities.  Alpha Delta Kappa Women Educators and Southwest Nebraska Reading Council join to host one of the festival’s best events. Participants will go home with the tools to do their own storytelling
