Festivals: 1997 - 2000

The committee has a special project going called "Turning the Century" which is the collection of short stories, poems and songs written about the life and times of people from southwest Nebraska, northwest Kansas and northeast Colorado by those living there, having lived there or about those who did.

The purpose of the effort is to record, for future generations, happenings, events and stories that have helped make this part of the world the wonderful place it has become today.

The committee intends to publish on the Internet and in book form, funds permitting, the literary works it receives. PLEASE TAKE A LOOK AT OUR "TURNING THE CENTURY" project section and consider submitting your story, poem or song to the committee or if you are not able to write your story, encourage others to do so and submit them.
